Offer Description and Conditions: The 15,000 Bonus Scene+ Points Offer (the “Offer”) applies only to new Scotia Home Hardware PRO Visa Business credit card accounts (“Account”) opened by May 31, 2024 and is subject to the below terms and conditions. 15,000 Bonus Scene+ Point Offer Description and Conditions: To be eligible for 15,000 bonus Scene+ points (the “15,000 Point Bonus”), you must open a new Account by May 31, 2024 and have at least $1,500 in purchases made at eligible Home Hardware, Home Building Centre, Home Hardware Building Centre, Home Furniture locations in Canada and online at homehardware.ca charged and posted to your new Account in the first 3 months of the Account open date. Eligible purchases include purchases (less any refunds, returns or other similar credits) but do not include payments, cash advances (including balance transfers or cash-like transactions), interest, fees or other charges. 

The 15,000 Point Bonus will be credited to the primary cardholder’s Scene+ account within approximately 2-3 business days after the qualifying $1,500 in eligible purchases being posted to your Account within the first 3 months of Account open date, provided the Account is open and in good standing. The Account is considered in good standing if it is not past due or over limit and the Cardholder(s) is not in breach of the Revolving Credit Agreement that applies to the Account. All other terms and conditions of the Scene+ Program continue to apply during the Offer period.

Eligibility and Exclusions: Individuals who are currently employees of Scotiabank, are not eligible for the Offer Subject to the above exclusion, Scotiabank personal credit cardholders are eligible for the Offers.

You are awarded one (1) Scene+ point for every eligible $1.00 charged and posted to the Scotia Home Hardware PRO Visa Business Account (the “Account”) only at eligible Home Hardware, Home Building Centre, Home Hardware Building Centre, Home Furniture locations in Canada and online at homehardware.ca. Eligibility: Only purchases earn Scene+ Points. Cash advances (including Balance Transfers and Cash-Like Transactions), fees, interest or other charges, returns, refunds or other similar credits to your Account do not qualify for Scene+ Points. Scene+ Points will not be posted to an Account that is not in good standing when purchases are made or when a statement is issued, or if the Account is not open when a statement is issued. Credit limits depends on whether the Scotia Home Hardware PRO Visa Business credit card account is secured or unsecured, subject to approval and the security provided. Credit limit up to $150,000 unsecured or $500,000 secured.

The primary borrower and/or co-borrower are liable for all charges incurred on the Scotiabank credit card account by any supplementary card issued in connection with the account.

To redeem Scene+ points, the Scotiabank Scene+ credit card or debit card must be open and in good standing, and the merchant category code must be recognized by Scotiabank’s system as described in the Scene+ Program Terms and Conditions. The value of the Scene+ points redeemed cannot exceed the amount of the Apply Points to Travel redemption charged to your Scene+ Scotiabank credit card or debit card. Scene+ points redeemed for an Apply Points to Travel redemption cannot be reversed once posted to your Scene+ Scotiabank credit card or debit card.

Points for Credit: You can use your Scene+ points for a credit on participating credit card accounts that earn Scene+ points (the “Eligible Scotiabank Scene+ Card Accounts”). Once the request to redeem Points for Credit has been submitted, you cannot cancel the request and no changes can be made. It may take up to 5 business days for the credit to appear on the eligible Scotiabank Scene+ credit card account. Your Eligible Scotiabank Scene+ Card Account must be open at the time the credit is applied to the account to receive any Points for Credit.

For credit cards: Points for Credit redemptions will be applied towards the balance of the credit card account, and not towards a particular transaction. Please note that even if you redeem for Points for Credit you are still responsible for making any monthly minimum payment applicable to your eligible Scotiabank Scene+ credit card account by your payment due date.
