Your guide to understanding statements at Scotiabank

Learn about bank account statements

All Scotiabank chequing accounts issue monthly statements. All our savings accounts issue monthly statements, except for the MomentumPLUS Savings Account (MPSA).  The MPSA balance will only be reported on a statement if you also have other investment products with the same ownership structure (for instance, if they’re all solely owned, or if they’re jointly held with the same joint owners).

You can switch your chequing account statement cycle date for most accounts—except the Ultimate Package and MPSA—by visiting your branch.

You can choose to receive either a paper copy of your statements in the mail or eStatements through online or mobile banking.  The Scotia Power Savings Account is paperless only.
