Scene+ Program Terms and Conditions

Scene+ is our enhanced rewards program that allows members to earn and redeem points for travel, shopping, dining and more.
You are awarded one (1) Scene+ Point for every $1.00 in recurring bill payments that are charged and posted on your ScotiaGold Passport Visa Card Account for housing, condominium or rental payments made online on or through the eligible online platform (the “Casa Platform") owned and operated by The Casa Company Inc. (each such recurring bill payment referred to as “Casa Housing Spend”) only if there is also an additional monthly amount of at least $350.00 in purchases of goods and services charged and posted to your ScotiaGold Passport Visa Card Account in that same month in addition to your monthly Casa Housing Spend (the “Additional Casa Spend”). We will identify the Casa Housing Spend made through the Casa Platform based on MCC of housing rental (6513) and merchant “CASA*PROPCO”. A “recurring bill payment(s)” (including one-time bill payment) means a pre-authorized payment made on a monthly (including one-time in certain cases) or regular basis that is automatically charged to your credit account that you establish directly with a merchant to make a payment to that merchant from your credit account.
If at least $350 or more in Additional Casa Spend is not achieved in any month, no Scene+ Points will be awarded for any portion of the Casa Housing Spend for that month.
Casa Housing Spend does not include Purchases, Cash Advances (including Balance Transfers, Scotia Credit Card Cheques or Cash-Like Transactions), fees, interest or other charges on the ScotiaGold Passport Visa Card Account, payments (other than the Casa Housing Spend), or returns, refunds or other similar credits.
Please allow up to 60 days for the Scene+ Points earned on Casa Housing Spend to be applied to your Scene+ membership account after the month in which the Casa Housing Spend and the minimum Additional Casa Spend was posted to your Account. In some cases, your monthly ScotiaGold Passport Visa Card Account statements for the relevant month may not reflect the most up-to-date Scene+ Points earned on Casa Housing Spend. For the most up-to-date information, you can log into the Program Site where Scene+ Points balances are updated daily for your Scene+ Account based on the transactions that have been posted to the Scene+ Account as of that date.
In the event that the Casa Housing Spend for which Scene+ Points were allocated is dishonoured or returned for any reason, Scene+ Points allocated for such Casa Housing Spend will be deducted automatically from the Scene+ Account. Your Scene+ Points balance will be reduced by the equivalent number of Scene+ Points issued for the original Casa Housing Spend. Also, in the event that any portion of a purchase that comprises your Additional Casa Spend is returned and/or exchanged for which Scene+ Points were allocated, in addition to your Scene+ Points balance being reduced by the equivalent number of Scene+ Points issued for the returned or exchanged for that purchase, this will also result in the deduction of any Scene+ Points allocated to your Casa Housing Spend if the minimum Additional Casa Spend of $350 was not achieved.

To earn or redeem Points, travel must be booked through the Scene+ Travel website or Scene+ Travel call centre. Travel booked via the Scene+ Travel call centre may be subject to a booking fee. Prices are in Canadian dollars unless otherwise specified. Prices and points requirement are available on the website, and subject to change. The Scene+ Travel Partner may impose terms and conditions that supplement the ‘Additional Terms and Conditions for Scene+ Travel’ included in the Scene+ Program Terms and Conditions. Earning Scene+ Points for Scene+ Travel purchases: Scene+ points are earned on eligible travel and Things to Do purchased through Scene+ Travel website or call centre (collectively “Scene+ Travel)”. Scene+ Points are earned on the total value of Things to do, hotel or car rental booking purchases (including taxes and fees) made through Scene+ Travel regardless of the payment method used for the purchase (Scene+ points redemption and/or payment card purchases). Points earned will be added to your Scene+ account within six weeks from the completion of your travel itinerary.
Paying for your eligible Scene+ Travel purchase: Points may be redeemed for the entire amount of the things to do, flight, hotel or car rental booking purchases (including taxes and fees), or redeemed in part with the remaining balance paid by an available payment card. Offer Description and Conditions: The 10,000 Bonus Scene+ Points and First Year Annual Fee Waiver (the “Offer”) applies only to new ScotiaGold Passport Visa credit card accounts (“Accounts”) opened on or after October 29, 2025 (regardless of the date you apply for the Account) and is subject to the conditions below.
10,000 Bonus Scene+ Point Offer Description and Conditions: To be eligible for 10,000 bonus Scene+ points (the “10,000 Point Bonus”), you must have at least $2,000 in eligible purchases charged and posted to your new Account in the first 3 months of the Account open date. Eligible purchases include purchases (less any refunds, returns or other similar credits) but do not include payments, cash advances (including balance transfers or cash-like transactions), interest, fees or other charges.
Point Bonus Fulfillment: The applicable point Bonus(es) will be credited to the Scene+ account within approximately 8 weeks after qualifying for a Bonus, provided the Account is open and in good standing. For Joint Accounts with a Primary Borrower and Co-borrower, the 10,000 Point Bonus will be credited to the Scene+ account linked to the Account of the borrower that completed the last transaction to meet the qualifying amount of eligible purchases (i.e., $2,000) in the appropriate time frame (i.e., first 3 months). If a supplementary cardholder completes the last qualifying transaction to meet the qualifying amount of eligible purchases, the 10,000 Point Bonus will be credited to the Primary Borrower’s Scene+ account linked to the Account. Points can be transferred between Primary and Co-Borrower or Supplementary Cardholder’s Scene+ accounts by contacting Scene+. The Account is considered in good standing if it is not past due or over limit and the Cardholder(s) is not in breach of the Revolving Credit Agreement that applies to the Account. All other terms and conditions of the Program Terms continue to apply during the Offer period. Offer may be changed, cancelled or extended without notice at any time and cannot be combined with any other offers.
First Year Annual Fee Waiver Offer Description and Conditions: We will waive the annual fee for the primary card issued on or after October 29, 2025 and for each additional card(s) issued on the Account during the first 12 months of the Account opening date.
Eligibility and Exclusions: Individuals who are currently or were previously primary or secondary cardholders of a Scotiabank personal credit card in the past 2 years, including those that switch from an existing Scotiabank personal credit card, as well as employees of Scotiabank, are not eligible for the Offer. Subject to the above exclusions, Scotiabank small business credit cardholders are also eligible for the Offer.
