Need to send or receive money from friends and family within Canada? Sending money through Interac e-Transfer^† is as simple as sending an email . Funds are received instantly in most cases, but in some cases can take up to 30 minutes. You can send an Interac e-Transfer^† electronically to anyone  who is enrolled in Interac e-Transfer^† with a Canadian bank account using your computer, tablet, or smartphone.

Getting Started

1. Set Up Digital Banking: If you're new to digital banking, you can set up your account with our mobile app guide and computer banking guide.
2. Register for Interac e-Transfer^†: Now that you have access to Scotia OnLine and the Scotia mobile app it is time to register for Interac e-Transfer^†.
   To Register on the Scotia mobile app: Select More > Profile and Settings > Manage Interac^† registration                             
   To Register on Scotia OnLine: Sign in > Click Move Money > Click Interac e-Transfer^† > Click Interac^† Details
