Update to important notice about Rate, Fee and Other Changes
We recognize that this is an uncertain time for everyone. The change to the interest rate for purchases described below on the Scotia Momentum Mastercard will no longer be taking effect on April 1, 2020. Additionally, the changes to certain cash advance fees will no longer be taking effect on May 1, 2020.
However, the changes to the Scotia Momentum Mastercard Cardholder Agreement are still in effect as of April 1, 2020.
Effective April 1, 2020, our Scotia Momentum Mastercard Cardholder Agreement will be updated. As well, the preferred annual interest rate on Purchases is increasing from 19.99% to 20.99%
Effective May 1, 2020 certain fees are increasing from $3.50 or $4.00 (as applicable) to $5.00.

Effective June 1, 2020, the exchange rate will be determined on the date the transaction is settled with Mastercard not when the transaction is posted to the Account. A summary of this change can be found here.
