Neal Kerr is Head of Scotia Global Asset Management and Executive Vice President, Scotiabank. Scotia Global Asset Management provides innovative investment solutions to retail, institutional and private client investors. In his role, he is responsible for all aspects of Scotiabank asset management in Canada, including its Scotia, Dynamic, Tangerine and Jarislowsky Fraser investment businesses.
With over 29 years of industry experience, Mr. Kerr has held progressively senior roles in investment operations, retail distribution, product development, institutional business development and executive leadership of investment teams. Mr. Kerr serves on boards across Scotia’s asset and wealth management businesses, as well as being Vice-Chair of the Board of Directors of the Investment Funds Institute of Canada. He is also Trustee for the Toronto Symphony Orchestra Foundation.
Mr. Kerr graduated from Western University with an Honours BA in Economics (Dean’s List). He has completed the Partners, Directors and Senior Officers Course offered by the Canadian Securities Institute.
