Profile
Jenny is the Chief Human Resources Officer with responsibility for Global Human Resources, including Talent, Global HR Services, Total Rewards, and HR Business Partners. In her role, Jenny will oversee the development of global Human Resources strategy and the Bank’s overarching human capital strategy. As a member of the Bank’s Operating Committee, Jenny plays a pivotal role in determining and guiding the overall strategic direction of the Bank.
Jenny joined Scotiabank in 2023 from the Royal Bank of Canada where she was, most recently, Senior Vice President, Talent Services & Operations. Over the course of her more than 30-year career at RBC, she gained extensive experience leading large global teams of HR centres of excellence, holding the roles of Senior Vice President, Workforce Strategy and Employee Experience and Senior Vice President, HR, Personal Banking and Commercial Banking. Jenny began her career in the Retail business, assuming progressively senior roles in sales management and sales strategy, and leading business partner teams for personal and commercial banking and global wealth management.
Jenny has sat on several not-for-profit boards and is currently the Chair of the Advisory Board for Canada's Future Skills Centre.
Jenny holds a Bachelor of Commerce with Honours from Queen’s University.
