Profile
Jacqui Allard was appointed Group Head, Global Wealth Management, at Scotiabank on December 1, 2023. In this role, she is responsible for leading comprehensive wealth management advice and solutions to more than two million investment fund and advisory clients across 13 countries. In November 2024, Jacqui’s role was expanded to include oversight of Scotiabank’s global insurance businesses.
Jacqui joined Scotiabank from the Royal Bank of Canada where she was, most recently, Executive Vice President responsible for consumer lending and international banking businesses. Over the course of her 10-year career at RBC, she also held the role of Senior Vice President of Strategy, Performance and Marketing for Personal & Commercial Banking and Senior Vice President, Wealth Management Solutions & Client Experience. Previously, Jacqui was Head of Operations and Chief Information Officer of the Investment Division of Manulife Financial, and President of Manulife Asset Management Canada. Her prior experience with State Street and Bank of Ireland included positions in the United States, Canada, Australia, Ireland and the UK.
She currently serves as a member of the Board of Directors at KeyCorp, a publicly traded bank based in Cleveland, Ohio. She is also a Strategic Advisor and Past Chair of the Board of Directors of Up With Women, a not-for-profit organization providing career coaching and support for formerly homeless women. Jacqui is the Co-Executive Champion of the Global Pride ERG at Scotiabank and Co-Executive Chair of the Scotiabank Employee Giving Campaign.
Jacqui has been recently recognized in The Globe and Mail’s Report on Business Best Executive Awards for outstanding executive leadership. She was also awarded one of “Canada’s Top 100 Most Powerful Women” by the Women’s Executive Network in 2013 and again in 2018. She holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Bentley Graduate School of Business in Massachusetts and an Honours Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Economics and History from Queen’s University in Ontario.
