Scotiabank’s unified enterprise approach to AI, Scotia Intelligence, brings together the capabilities, various platforms and governance required to deliver AI securely and at scale globally for employees and clients.
"Combined with our existing technology infrastructure, these AI capabilities unite the strength of our data and cloud environments while embedding governance and security so teams can use AI confidently and responsibly,” said Tim Clark, Group Head & Chief Information Officer
The new enterprise approach is designed to accelerate the Bank's AI evolution and provide employees with secure scalable data and AI capabilities.
“By putting AI-enabled tools into the hands of our global team, we're enabling greater focus on higher-value work resulting in better decisions, faster execution and meaningful outcomes for our clients," adds Clark.
Sandeep Kumar, Scotiabank’s Chief Data & Analytics Officer, says the system modernizes and connects the Bank’s data so that teams are not working across fragmented systems or doubling up their efforts. Kumar adds that there’s already been “real-world impact” across the organization with teams now able to respond faster and more consistently.
“Every client interaction tells a story, whether it’s in person, online or on the phone. Scotia Intelligence helps understand it, resulting in faster and more personalised banking,” said Kumar.
