To ensure access to hockey no matter their financial standing, we’re hosting free hockey clinics across Canada for young women, introducing them to inspirational role models, including Scotiabank Teammates, Cassie Campbell-Pascall and Natalie Spooner.

You Can Play
To ensure safety and inclusion in hockey for LGBT+ athletes, coaches and fans, we’ve committed $120,000 over the next 3 years to You Can Play.
To ensure access to hockey for those with disabilities, we’ve partnered with Volt Hockey league to deliver fully accessible hockey programming.
To provide young people from diverse backgrounds with the opportunity to play the game, we’re partnering with Project North to help deliver new hockey equipment to communities across Canada’s North.
To support the future of the women’s game, we’re partnering with the PWHPA to showcase the most talented players in North America, while inspiring the next generation through programs like Scotia Rising Teammates.
Hockey 4 Youth
To ensure new Canadians are given the chance to play hockey, we’ve partnered with Hockey 4 Youth to deliver free hockey skills clinics for newcomers.
Through its support of organizations like First Assist and Project North, Scotiabank is proud to support remote communities from coast to coast to coast through equipment donations and other forms of support tied to the game of hockey.
Since 2006, Scotiabank Girls HockeyFest has impacted more than 17,000 young women. We are proud to partner with organizations like the PWHPA to inspire the next generation of women through the sport.
Hockey 4 Youth
Since 2015, Hockey 4 Youth has worked with over 550+ newcomer and high priority teens across the country. Scotiabank is proud to provide new Canadians the opportunity to become socially included in their communities through hockey.
