More than six-in-ten Canadians surveyed have set a budget this holiday season, a new survey indicates. While seven-in-ten spending money on the holiday have positive emotions associated with this time of year, almost half also have negative emotions, according to Scotiabank's latest Holiday Spending Poll. To stay within budget, Canadians are looking to a variety of payment options, including loyalty program points.

From Nov. 2 to Nov. 3, an online survey of 1,502 randomly selected Canadian adults who are Maru Voice Canada panelists was conducted on behalf of Scotiabank by Maru/Blue
