Six in ten (63%) Canadian parents are concerned about finding a way to pay for their children’s post-secondary education, a new Scotiabank poll finds.

With concerns over the rising cost of living and tuition rates, 61% of parents surveyed say financially preparing for their children’s education is overwhelming, the 2022 Scotiabank Student Banking Poll showed.

The online survey was conducted on behalf of Scotiabank by Maru/Blu from March 28 to March 30, 2022, among 3,021 randomly selected Canadian adults who have children aged 0-24 and are Maru Voice Canada panelists
