Nora A. Aufreiter
Profile
Nora Aufreiter is a corporate director and a former senior partner of McKinsey and Company, an international consulting firm. Throughout her 27-year career at McKinsey, she held multiple leadership roles, including Managing Director of McKinsey’s Toronto office and leader of the North American Digital and Omni Channel service line, and was a member of the firm’s global personnel committees. She has worked extensively in Canada, the United States, and internationally, serving her clients in consumer-facing industries including retail, consumer and financial services, energy, and the public sector. Ms. Aufreiter holds a B.A. (Honours) in business administration from the Ivey Business School at the University of Western Ontario and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School. In September 2024, Ms. Aufreiter earned a Certificate of Sustainability at the Stanford Doer School of Sustainability. In 2011, she was recognized by the Women’s Executive Network as one of “Canada’s Most Powerful Women: Top 100”. In June 2018, Ms. Aufreiter was awarded an honorary Doctor of Laws, honoris causa (LLD) at the University of Western Ontario.
