Does the workshop cost money?
No the workshop is free, as the Digital Marketing Professionals will be volunteering their time and expertise.
What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?
We are located at the southeast side of King Street and Princess Street. If traveling by car, there is street parking available and some paid parking lots around the area. We suggest you arrive a bit early to allow yourself time to find suitable parking. If traveling by transit, hop on the King Street streetcar (504) heading Eastbound.
What can I bring into the event?
You are welcome to bring a laptop or notepad and something to write with if you plan on taking notes.
Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?
You must also be at least 19 years of age to enter this event.
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
Nope! Once you are registered, we will just need your name and a piece of ID.
Can I update my registration information?
Please reach out the organizer at soley.georgsdottir@scotiabank.com if you need to make changes to your registraiton.
Is my registration fee or ticket transferrable?
Please reach out to the organizer if you would like someone else from your organization to attend in your place at soley.georgsdottir@scotiabank.com
Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn't match the person who attends?
No - only attendees whose names are on the registration list will be permitted to attend.
Does our not for profit have to have an existing relationship with Scotiabank?
No - a pre-existing relationship with Scotiabank is not a requirement.
Do I have to register to attend?
Yes - registration is required to be able to attend the workshop. Non registered individuals will not be permitted to the workshop.
Does my not for profit have to have a charitable registration number?
Yes - to participate in the workshop you need to have a charitable registration number
Do I have to have existing Digital Marketing or Social Media knowledge?
Nope! All knowledge levels are welcome to the workshop.
Does our not for profit have to have an existing website for us to attend?
No! An existing website is not a requirement for participation in the workshop. Let us help you get started with your .com presence!
Do we have to bring anything?
You are not required to bring anything. If you would like to take notes, please ensure you bring whatever tools you prefer (i.e. a notebook or a laptop). If you would like to bring some business cards for networking you are welcome to do that as well.
Do I have to attend the entire workshop, or can I only attend for a portion of it?
For the best possible experience and outcome, we advise attending the full workshop. If there is a particular reason you will be unable to attend the full workshop - please send an email to soley.georgsdottir@scotiabank.com
