John McNally

John McNally is a Senior Policy Advisor providing thought leadership and analysis on trade, the energy transition, and other timely economic/policy topics on the Scotiabank Economics Team. John joined Scotiabank in 2024. Prior to joining the bank, John worked with the Smart Prosperity Institute, a Canadian environment-economy think tank, and Environment and Climate Change Canada, as well as serving as an advisor to a range of climate, innovation and energy initiatives. John holds an MA in Sustainable Energy Policy from Carleton University and a BMgmt from Dalhousie University.
