Our Sales and Trading students get an exclusive sneak peek at our Global Capital Markets Program during their co-op and  start to build an important relationship with our dedicated Program Manager. During your term, you’ll assist the Sales, Trading and Structuring staff on the trading floor in their day-to-day functions. Preparing client presentations, daily market commentary, and timely client support are all part of the experience. You may also work on research projects, as required by the business and our partners.

As a Sales and Trading intern or co-op student, you’ll take part in a bank-wide orientation to learn more about Scotiabank and gain exposure to senior leadership across the organization. There’s a huge social component during your time with us. Evenings out, lunch & learns, and internal career fairs are all part of it. You’ll have access to skill-building modules, as well as challenging work-integrated learnings - all of which come together to create a stimulating environment where you will have the chance to thrive.
