Personal Banking is part of Canadian Banking, our largest business line by revenue. Co-op terms and internships within Personal Banking can provide a head start for your career as a Financial Advisor, building a foundation for success centred on developing core financial advisory skills.

The Chartered Professional Accountant  Student Training

Does this sound like you? 

  • You're currently studying towards your post-secondary degree

  •  You’re part of a formal co-op program, or  want to arrange your own (like an internship)

  • You’re customer-service driven and  a quick-thinker who can problem solve

  •  You have outstanding relationship management skills and enjoy working with others

  • You have an affinity for languages (The ability to speak multiple languages is always important - specifically English, Spanish, French, and/or Mandarin)

    As a Personal Banking intern or co-op, you’ll learn more about Scotiabank and explore opportunities that will accelerate your development in personal banking and other areas of Canadian Banking (such as Commercial Banking and Wealth Management), as well as other areas within Scotiabank. You’ll have access to skill-building modules, as well as challenging work-integrated learnings - all of which come together to create a stimulating environment where you will have the chance to thrive.
