The IgnITion: Technology Solutions Development Program
Undergraduate and Masters graduates
The IgnITion: Technology Solutions Development Program is designed to develop top computer science and engineering students and prepare them for their future careers. In the program, you’ll rotate through several areas within our Technology Solutions Group. There will also be a flex rotation where you can choose an area outside of Technology Solutions, enabling you to develop your skill set and broaden your experiences. This unprecedented work-integrated-learning program has no equal in being able to quickly provide you with the knowledge needed to ignite your career.

What to Expect
IgnITion associates take part in an initiation process that includes an overview of Scotiabank and technology. You’ll have access to a dedicated program manager, who will also provide constant mentorship, coaching, and development, will oversee your rotation through different areas within the technology solutions group and prepare you to complete the program and launch your career . Throughout the program, you'll have exclusive access to senior management networking events, technical demonstrations and courses/learning, team-building opportunities, and a technical speaker series.
Scotiabank's Information Technology and Solutions team enables all areas of the Bank with state-of-the-art tools, faster services, agile decision making, and innovative delivery of technical products and solutions. Your responsibilities might include data management, software development, network testing, database design, software design, as well as the management and administration of entire systems. Some of the most common technologies and frameworks include Java/J2EE, PEGA, Node JS, Angular, Python, Web Services, Knockout, Blockchain, Hadoop, and DevOps.
