1. Definitions

"Cardholder" means an individual holder of a SCENE ScotiaCard® debit card linked to a SCENE eligible bank account.

"Eligible Scotiabank Cash ABM" is a Scotiabank branded automated banking machine (“ABM”) that provides no services other than dispensing cash and is located within a 7 Eleven convenience store in the Province of Ontario, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta or British Columbia. Scotiabank ABMs located outside of 7 Eleven convenience stores and full service ABMs, including those that can take deposits and change cardholder PINs and preferences, are not Eligible Scotiabank Cash ABMs.

"SCENE eligible bank account" means an “Eligible Account” under the SCENE Terms.

"SCENE Terms" means the SCENE ScotiaCard Terms and Conditions located at scene.ca.

"Scotiabank" means The Bank of Nova Scotia.

2. Description of the Offer

This Offer by Scotiabank begins on November 7, 2016 at 12:00:01 a.m. ET and ends on December 23, 2016 at 11:59:59 p.m. PT (the “Offer Period”). One hundred (100) SCENE points will be awarded for a Cardholder’s second cash withdrawal during the Offer Period (i) at an Eligible Scotiabank Cash ABM, (ii) against a SCENE eligible bank account, and (iii) using a SCENE ScotiaCard debit card (an “eligible transaction”). Four hundred (400) additional SCENE points will be awarded if the cardholder makes a third eligible transaction during the Offer Period, subject to these Offer Terms and Conditions. A Cardholder can earn a maximum of 500 SCENE points during the Offer Period. No more than one (1) eligible transaction per day will qualify towards the Offer.

3. Eligibility

The Offer is open to all Cardholders who, throughout the Offer Period, are residents of Canada whose SCENE membership account is not “inactive”, as defined in the SCENE Terms, and whose SCENE eligible bank account remains open and in good standing until the end of the Offer Period. For the purposes of these Offer Terms and Conditions, a SCENE eligible bank account is not in “good standing” if (i) it has a negative balance exceeding the authorized overdraft limit, or (ii) it has been in continuous overdraft with or without Overdraft Protection for a period of three (3) consecutive months.

This Offer is not available on withdrawals made with a ScotiaCard debit card other than a SCENE ScotiaCard debit card. This Offer is not available on transactions made using a credit product, including a SCENE VISA* card.

4. SCENE Points

The SCENE points awarded under this Offer are not transferable or convertible to cash and must be accepted as awarded. Scotiabank reserves the right to substitute earned SCENE points with an award of equal or greater value. Redemption of SCENE points awarded through the Offer will be subject to the SCENE Terms.

5. Fulfillment

SCENE points awarded will be applied to Cardholders’ SCENE accounts no later than February 28, 2017.

6. General

7-Eleven Convenience Stores and SCENE LP are not involved in the administration of this Offer.

Except as otherwise described in these Offer Terms and Conditions, all provisions of the SCENE Terms, including the SCENE Privacy Policy located at scene.ca, as well as the Scotiabank Privacy Agreement located at scotiabank.com, will continue to apply to Cardholders who participate in this Offer.

By participating in this offer, Cardholders agree to these Offer Terms and Conditions. This Offer is subject to all applicable laws. The decisions of Scotiabank with respect to all aspects of the Offer are final and binding on all Cardholders.

Scotiabank reserves the right to withdraw or amend this Offer without notice at any time.
