The Scotiabank Women Initiative teamed up with Réseau des Femmes d'affaires du Québec (RFAQ) to deliver education and networking opportunities to women entrepreneurs in Quebec.
On March 6, 2019 Scotiabank and Disruption Ventures announced a unique collaboration. The milestone investment is additive to The Scotiabank Women Initiative, which helps women with access to capital, support from senior business leaders, and education tailored to their needs.
Since 2002, The Forum has been educating, mentoring and connecting women entrepreneurs in Canada. We are proud to support them on events and team up on producing a podcast series called The Go-To: For entrepreneurs in the Know. Topics include raising capital, sales and marketing, mindset, HR and more.
During Small Business Month in October 2019, The Scotiabank Women Initiative supported women entrepreneurs at the Visa Canada She’s Next, Empowered by Visa event. The gathering allowed us to hear the pain points and challenges that women face today and to ultimately provide solutions and advice to help them move their businesses in the right direction.
Scotiabank is a proud partner of the Canadian Federation of Independent Business (CFIB). The Scotiabank Women Initiative joined forces with CFIB to support women-led businesses with HR topics such as Recruitment and Performance Management Best Practices.
