Up to $400 Cash Bonus Offer (the “Offer”) Conditions: To qualify for a $200 cash bonus offer, you must open a new Select Account for business by October 31 2026 (an “Eligible Account”) and complete a minimum of thirty (30) transactions within the first 90 days of Eligible Account opening (for a full list of possible transactions for Eligible Accounts, please refer to Your Guide to Fees and Interest Schedules).  If you have met the conditions of the $200 cash bonus offer, you qualify for an additional $200 cash bonus if you sign up with Chase for Merchant Services. Merchants who wish to sign up with Chase must submit an application and all applications are subject to credit approval and entering into a Merchant Agreement with Chase. Merchant applications started during the Offer Period must be approved and you must be onboarded by no later than November 30, 2026, to be eligible for the additional $200 cash bonus.

 

Exclusions: The Offer is only available to business banking customers and excludes the following:

• Customers that hold a business operating account as at September 7, 2026. Operating accounts include the following: Right Size Account for business, Basic Business Account, Select Account for business Plans A, B, C or Unlimited, Scotia Professional Plan Plus Account
• Commercial Banking customers

 

General Terms: The applicable cash bonus ($200 or $400) will be deposited to the Eligible Account within approximately six (6) months from Eligible Account open date provided all Offer conditions outlined herein have been met. The Eligible Account must be open and in good standing at the time of payout of the cash bonus. The Eligible Account is not in “good standing” if: (i) it has a negative balance exceeding the authorized overdraft limit, or (ii) it has been in continuous overdraft for a period of three consecutive months. 

 

The Offer is non-transferable and may not be duplicated. Limit of one (1) Offer per customer, regardless of the number of Eligible Accounts held. If more than one (1) Eligible Account is opened, the applicable cash bonus will be deposited into the first Eligible Account opened. All rates, fees, features, and benefits are subject to change. The Offer may be changed, cancelled, or extended at any time without notice and cannot be combined with any other offers unless otherwise permitted.

 

By opening an eligible Account and participating in this Offer, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to all of the Offer terms and conditions.

This Merchant Services Offer (the “Offer”) is available to customers who accept it by signing an offer letter and who, on or after September 12, 2023, have or open a Select Account for business Plan B (“Account”) and are signed up with Chase for Merchant Services (“Eligible Customers”). To qualify for a monthly fee rebate on your Account, Eligible Customers must use their Account to settle Chase deposit transactions. If there is no Chase deposit transaction activity in the Account during any month, the monthly Account fee will not be rebated for that month. When an Eligible Customer qualifies for a rebate in any given month, the monthly Account fee will initially be charged to the Account and rebated in the Account within 20 business days following the last day of the billing cycle in which the monthly Account fee was charged. The rebate amount will be equal to the monthly Account fee charged to your Account, up to a maximum rebate amount of $40. To receive a rebate of the monthly Account fee, the Account must be open and in good standing at the time of the rebate. An Account is considered in good standing if there is no breach of the terms and conditions specified in the Scotiabank Financial Services Agreement or any other terms and conditions or agreement(s) applicable to the Account. The Offer is conditional upon successful onboarding with Chase. This Offer will not affect other service charges applicable to the Account. Maximum one offer per Eligible Customer regardless of the number of Accounts opened. This Offer is non- transferable and may be changed, cancelled, or extended by Scotiabank at any time without notice, including if an Eligible Customer stop obtaining payment processing services from Chase.

As of April 1, 2025, the standard monthly plan fee for the Select Account for business Plan B is $40 and is subject to change by Scotiabank at any time with notice. Please refer to Your Guide to Fees and Interest Schedules for the current fees and charges applicable.

Deposit fees are waived for Chase Merchant Services customers using selected Scotiabank Business Accounts. The Basic Business Account is excluded. Refer to Your Guide to Fees and Interest Schedules. Customers are subject to a transaction fee for each of their Visa*, Mastercard® and Interac® deposit transactions if they process payments with a service provider other than Chase Merchant Services. Next-day funding is available to Chase Merchant Services customers for Visa, MasterCard and Interac card transactions only. Next-day funding is subject to merchant credit approval and all funds are subject to fraud monitoring. Qualifying funds are deposited on the next business day, excluding weekends and bank holidays.
