The Scotiabank Women Initiative® Mentor Program is once again, teaming up with The Forum, a Canadian charity and partner. Together we will provide opportunities for women entrepreneurs to connect with experienced business leaders through 1:1 mentorship. For 20 years, The Forum has been pairing both early-stage and established women entrepreneurs with mentors who understand your business. Starting now, The Scotiabank Women Initiative will extend this offering to our program participants, at no cost.
After registration on the online mentorship platform, you'll be matched with a mentor who’s been selected based on your unique needs, goals, and values. And you’ll meet with them for one hour per month. You will continue to meet over the course of the year and will have your mentor's guidance and support as you grow your business.
Mentor program benefits
Over the course of 12 months, you’ll receive support and guidance from an established business owner who’s been through the ups and downs of entrepreneurship. They’ll be able to provide actionable next steps and will cheer for you as you meet your goals. It takes courage to take this step, but the payoff is well worth it! - Virtual planning & resources: The Mentor Program will give you the tools you need to succeed. With this virtual platform, you’ll be able to seamlessly set up meetings with your mentor and view in-depth guides and videos that will show you how to get the most out of your experience. You’ll find suggested agendas, feedback forms, and more that will pave the path for success while saving you time.
- Accountability & motivation: For your monthly meetings, you’ll set an agenda and track your progress, giving you the extra motivation to hit the goals you’ve set out for yourself. It’s easy for time to get away from you when you’re busy building your business, but The Scotiabank Women Initiative Mentor Program makes it easier to manage your time while providing you with the necessary guidance to grow.
