Overview

The year-long Global Risk Management (GRM) rotational program provides a platform to accelerate your development, right after graduation, with hands-on experience you will need to start your career in Risk Management. You'll build your skills, knowledge, and expertise through three, 4-month rotations in one of the following streams:

  • Credit Risk
  • Retail Credit Risk Analysis
  • Enterprise and Market Risk
  • Quantitative Modeling

  • What to Expect

    As a GRM Associate, you’ll take part in designing and applying Scotiabank’s risk appetite and risk management framework. You’ll have the opportunity to develop your leadership skills and create relationships with team members across departments and regions, while also gaining hands-on experience with senior executives through rotations, mentoring, special projects and organized events. 

    This is a chance to build a  career path tailored to your individual needs, education, experience, and personal attributes, along with the business requirements and demands within Global Risk Management. 

    Your dedicated program manager will provide 1:1 coaching and training with ongoing mentorship, coaching, and development. Their priority is to ensure a successful transition in and out of rotations, while preparing you to complete  the program and launch your career as a leader. You'll also have exclusive access to senior management networking events, technical demonstrations and courses/learning, and team-building opportunities.
