Ley de Protección de datos [Law respecting Protection of Data] (Peru)
I hereby authorize the companies of GRUPO SCOTIABANK PERÚ (Scotiabank Perú SAA, Crediscotia Financiera SA, Servicios, Cobranzas e Inversiones SAC and Profuturo AFP) in a free, informed, prior and express manner, to handle, access, compile, register, organize, store, preserve, prepare, modify, use or transfer to third parties my personal information, including my personal and sensitive data, and share it with companies of business partners and/or providers. In this respect, I authorize GRUPO SCOTIABANK PERÚ to handle my Personal Data through (1) GRUPO SCOTIABANK PERÚ workers or employees who need to know said information for staff recruitment, assessment and selection purposes, for the purpose of filling positions corresponding to work locations directly linked to one of the companies of GRUPO SCOTIABANK PERÚ; (2) third parties and/or companies contracted by a company of GRUPO SCOTIABANK PERÚ that need to know said information for the provision of their services and/or (3) companies that make up GRUPO SCOTIABANK PERÚ in the future, whether or not they are domiciled in Peru, for consolidation of data, preparation of corporate statistics, preparation of policies, etc. This data will be in a database for an indefinite period. The authorization may be revoked and other rights under the Ley de Protección de Datos Personales [Law respecting Protection of Personal Data] may be exercised at any of the Bank’s offices or through any other channel indicated by the Bank.
2) Full Privacy Policy
GRUPO SCOTIABANK PERÚ exercises control over a set of companies in the financial, insurance and pension fund manager system, as well as control over companies related to the stock market, among others, both in Peru and abroad, which share business processes, management structures and technological systems with cross-border scope, within the scope permitted by the law.
Information related to identification of THE APPLICANT, or data facilitating their identification, as well as regarding personal, financial and credit information, including information classified as sensitive data in accordance with the law, provided verbally, in writing or electronically by THE APPLICANT or obtained through other persons, companies and/or institutions (public or private, national or foreign) shall be considered Personal Data.
THE APPLICANT, in a free, informed, prior and express manner, agrees that GRUPO SCOTIABANK PERÚ may handle their Personal Data, that is, access, compile, register, organize, store, preserve, prepare, modify, block, delete, extract, consult, use, transfer or process it in any other way determined by law.
THE APPLICANT agrees that GRUPO SCOTIABANK PERÚ may handle Personal Data through: (i) GRUPO SCOTIABANK PERÚ workers or employees who need to know said information for staff recruitment, assessment and selection purposes, for the purpose of filling positions corresponding to work locations directly linked to one of companies of GRUPO SCOTIABANK PERÚ (ii) third parties and/or companies contracted by a GRUPO SCOTIABANK PERÚ company that need to know said information for the provision of their services and/or (iii) companies that make up GRUPO SCOTIABANK PERÚ in the future, whether or not they are domiciled in Peru, for consolidation of data, preparation of corporate statistics, preparation of policies, etc.
THE APPLICANT agrees that GRUPO SCOTIABANK PERÚ may keep Personal Data on file indefinitely and handle it in accordance with the terms stated above, even if THE APPLICANT loses their status as such. Personal Data will be stored in a database owned by GRUPO SCOTIABANK PERÚ or in any other database that may be established in the future. GRUPO SCOTIABANK PERÚ states that it has adopted the measures required in order to keep said information secure.
Furthermore, THE APPLICANT states that they have been informed of their right to oppose, access, rectify, cancel or not to provide Personal Data. If not provided, said personal data may not be handled as indicated above. Finally, THE APPLICANT may revoke their consent for the handling of their Personal Data or may exercise the rights granted to them by law at any given time. To exercise this right or any other right set forth by law with respect to Personal Data, they will have to submit a request in writing to the Área de Recursos Humanos [HR Area]. Other channels may be established for processing these requests, which will be communicated by GRUPO SCOTIABANK PERÚ in a timely manner, via its website.
