Nearly one-third of Canadian investors say they are more concerned about their ability to fund their retirement, compared to a year ago, a new survey shows

However, 87% of investors who met with a financial advisor in the past six months feel confident their investments will be OK, the Scotia Global Asset Management Investor Sentiment survey showed.

Here is a closer look at the survey’s findings.

The online survey was conducted by Environics Research from Nov. 2 to 11, 2021, among 1,029 Canadians, 25 years of age or older with household investable assets of $25,000 or more and who participate in investments decisions for their household. The data was weighted by age, gender and region and household investable assets to reflect the population.
