As Canada’s most international bank, Scotiabank has been operating in the British Virgin Islands since 1967. Today we operate two branches and six ATMs in the British Virgin Islands, offering a complete range of retail and commercial banking services.
Scotiabank opened its first branch in 1967 in Road Town, Tortola. Retail banking continued to expand, with activity reflecting the economic growth of the country, and was heavily centered on the tourist industry.
Scotiabank is a strong supporter of various community initiatives. Scotiabank’s contributions in the British Virgin Islands range from sports initiatives and helping the fight against HIV/AIDS to education and arts and culture, with a focus geared towards children, non-profit organisations, and the aged.
To be the best at helping our customers become financially better off.
