Scatliffe Primary School

On Friday October 24th, 2008 Scotiabank's bright Future Champion visited the Althea Scatliffe Primary School, Road Town, Tortola to read to the students.

In a thank you note to the Bank the Principal wrote "We deeply appreciated the fact that you took time out of your busy schedule to come share in that very special activity. Your presence last Friday indicated your interest in the children. Thank you for sharing the belief that "Reading is Fun". Reading is an important part of a child's development and we were delighted that you are partnering with us as we mould the lives of the young people in our community."

Shanica will be visiting he school at least once monthly to promote reading at the primary level.
