Scotiabank Trinidad and Tobago Named Bank of the Year 2013

Scotiabank was today (November 29, 2013) named the Bank of the Year in Trinidad and Tobago by The Banker magazine, a Financial Times publication. Scotiabank Trinidad and Tobago Limited was also recently awarded Scotiabank's Country of the Year 2013 title.

"Scotiabank has had a presence in Trinidad and Tobago for 60 years and we are pleased to be recognized as Bank of the Year for maintaining a strong track record of delivering superior results," said Anya M. The Bank was also named Bank of the Year by The Banker in The British Virgin Islands, Guyana, Jamaica and Canada.

The Banker selects winners based on their ability to deliver shareholder returns and gain strategic advantage. The magazine is the world's longest running international banking magazine, recognized as a leading source of information on finance and investment around the globe.
