Scotia Jamaica Building Society (SJBS), which was incorporated in 1993, is one of the subsidiaries that came out of that vision. In 1994, it officially opened its offices on Lady Musgrave Road in New Kingston, and in 1995, SJBS relocated to its current home at 95 Harbour Street in downtown Kingston.
