As Canada’s most international bank, Scotiabank has been operating in St. Lucia since 1964. Today we operate four branches across the country and offer a complete range of retail and commercial banking services — including online banking and electronic cash management services.
Scotiabank opened its first St. Lucian branch in the capital city of Castries in the North of the island in 1964. Retail banking expanded with the addition of Vieux-Fort branch in the south, another branch in the city, and one more in the extreme north of the island Gros Islet. Activity in the branches in St. Lucia reflected the economic growth of the country, with agriculture being the main industry, increasingly moving towards the tourist industry.
With the four branches strategically placed throughout the country, Scotiabank continues to offer a complete range of retail, commercial banking, including electronic cash management. The Bank now has about 130 employees and 11 ATMs in St. Lucia.
