We look forward to working with a wide range of children/youth based charities. We use the following criteria to make sure projects are a good fit for Scotiabank Bright Future Program funding.

• Your organization's efforts must be focused on improving the well-being of children/youth and are making a measurable impact on helping children/youth to grow and develop (children/youth defined as: under the age of 18 or young adult dependents up to the age of 25 years old who are enrolled in school.)
• Your organization spends less than 20% of funding on administration costs, is willing to show how funds are used and has the resources, support and plans in place to operate for the long-term.
• Your organization has a demonstrated history of success and is known by the public for its work with children/youth.
• Your organization will help promote Scotiabank's involvement with your charity.
