Annually from July through August, SCOTIABANK, St. Lucia has committed to the sponsorship of 20 children to participate in a 2 week Summer Camp. Included in the SCOTIABANK sponsorship are some of the orphans from the CICERON ORPHANAGE. Two sessions are held, two weeks each.
A full program is created for them, which includes:
- Visiting Historical & Heritage Sites
- Fun Crafts
- Photo Art
- Dance Clinics- (modern & local)
- Sports- Scotiabank Kiddy Cricket- outfitted in Scotiabank Kiddy Cricket shirts/caps
- Horseback Riding
- Land and Sea Tours
- Forest Overnight Hikes
- Team competitions with the group broken up into four or six teams.
- Culminating with a prize giving ceremony at the end of the two-week fun filled camp.
- The last day of August all groups are treated to “Treasure Thrillogy and Family Comedy”- a family day of fun and games, treasure hunts, BINGO games and Caribbean comedy.
