 The ScotiaBusiness Builder is available to existing and prospective SME customers of Scotiabank Jamaica. SME’s will be required to satisfy the credit risk assessment procedures of the bank.

Your ScotiaBusiness Builder loan will allow you to: - Improve efficiency and/or productivity.
- Enhance your record keeping capabilities.
These loans are not for refinancing of current debts.
Maximum / Minimum Loan Amounts
The maximum loan which will be granted is J$5 million and the minimum is J$1 million, per business.
Lending Criteria
The loan is intended for borrowers classified as small to medium sized businesses. Businesses should not have more than 25 employees and J$105 million in annual revenues.
Interest Rates
The interest rate is fixed and ranges from 8.625% to 12.125%, depending on the risk profile.
Terms
The maximum term for loans granted under the Fund is 5 years. (A moratorium period on the principal will be based on a review and recommendation).1
