The Scotia Institutional Asset Management Currency team has broad experience in foreign exchange markets. The discretionary investment strategy we employ is designed to deliver consistent, low volatility value-added returns. Our team is dedicated exclusively to currency management and has significant experience working with clients to design and implement customized currency solutions.
Our active management style provides the flexibility necessary to shift between the dynamic set of factors and influences that impact the currency markets. This flexibility is important to the creation of opportunities to generate added value. Our discretionary view is built using a blend of fundamental and quantitative tools that project over short and long-term horizons. This view, combined with a refined implementation process and risk management monitoring, has resulted in positive value added returns to our clients’ currency mandates managed by our currency team since 2004.
