Ed joined the firm in 1990 and moved to the asset management business in 1995. He leads the Scotia Institutional Client Service team and represents our asset management capabilities to clients, including pensions, foundations, corporations, First Nations and unions.
Ed graduated from the University of Toronto with a Bachelor of Science. He has completed the Canadian Investment Manager designation and is a CFA charterholder. He is a member of both the Toronto Society of Financial Analysts and the Chartered Financial Analyst Institute.
Jean-Pierre joined the firm in 2014. He supports the growth of Institutional Fixed Income by advocating and illustrating how the business meets the needs of institutional investors. He is also instrumental in bridging the gap between portfolio management teams and frontline distribution personnel.
Before Scotia, Jean-Pierre held the position of Vice-President, Fixed Income Sales at TD Securities. In that role, he strengthened key relationships with some of the largest and most recognized buy-side investing institutions in Canada.
Jean-Pierre is a CFA charterholder and holds a Master of Science in Administration from HEC Business School. He also has a Bachelor of Business and Administration degree from University of Quebec and Concordia University.
