Prior to joining ScotiaMcleod in 2001, I worked with an investment firm specializing in corporate finance for small cap companies and catering to high net worth individuals. I have extensive experience with Flow-Through Share investments and an in depth knowledge of global discretionary money management.

Investment Philosophy and Process
There are three essential steps to managing the risk in an investment portfolio. In a well diversified portfolio, the most important decision that you can make with respect to risk and performance is: "What is my target Asset Allocation?". Once you have made that decision, it becomes a policy. The most difficult decision to make is often: "Who will be the Investment Managers?". The final step is to monitor (the investment management), review (the performance) and rebalance (the portfolio, according to policy).
