Frances, who is an Associate Director with ScotiaMcLeod, is very actively involved in the community. She has been involved in organizing the Terry Fox Run for 20 years and is the Chairperson for the Terry Fox Run in Sudbury. She is also active in Relay for Life and her children's hockey organizations. Frances believes very much in giving back to the Community.
Frances, originally from Cochrane, Ontario, joined ScotiaMcLeod (McLeod Young Weir at that time) in Toronto in 1982. There she worked on the Bond Desk, Commodities, and New Issues/Syndication. Previously, she had one year experience working on the Toronto Stock Exchange floor. In 1999 she decided to take her vast industry experience, knowledge, and people skills and return to Northern Ontario. She and her family moved to Sudbury, Ontario and Frances services clients in Sudbury and area as well as Sault Ste. Marie, and, of course, Cochrane. Jennifer Manarin, her assistant, is also very active with children's hockey. Jennifer joined ScotiaMcLeod in 2002. Previously, she was employed with a major financial institution for seventeen years. Jennifer believes in providing outstanding customer service and is an excellent team player and an asset to our organization.

I use tailored strategies, products, and services that reflect my client's unique situation and goals. I add value by recoginizing that many clients' primary objective is to maintain their principal and then we proceed to preserve capital and provide growth in line with my client's personal goals and objectives. Diversification is key in my process.
