Guyana's Bright Future programme is focused on initiatives that benefit children in the areas of health, education, sports and social development. During 2010, over 4000 children and 200 organisations, including schools and NGOs will benefit from our programme.
Some of the major initiatives undertaken this year are our Schools Road Safety Programme in partnership with the National Road Safety Council; our Kiddy Cricket programme in partnership with the WICB, Guyana Cricket Board and Ministry of Education; and our donation of computers to the School Net/Global Parternship for Literacy programme.
Scotiabanks community involvement programs are an important element of Scotiabank Groups commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility.
