The Story Behind Scotiabank Guyana
Scotiabank has enjoyed a history of evolution and growth. Our first Branch operation was opened in 1968 Scotiabank opened its first branch in Georgetown, Guyana in September 1968. Since that time, the Bank's presence has grown to five branches (2 in Georgetown, 1 in Berbice and 2 in Essequibo), employing 176 people, offering retail and commercial services, including electronic cash management services, trade finance services and wire transfers, eleven ABMs.
