The Bank of Nova Scotia, registered as a Foreign Bank with its registered office at 40, Temperance Street, Toronto, Ontario M5H 0B4 and operating through its branch in India at 93-94, 3 North Avenue, Maker Maxity, Bandra Kurla Complex, Bandra East, Mumbai 400 051 (“BNS India”) is in the process of closing its banking operations in India.

To minimize the impact of this business decision on our clients and to facilitate our exit from India, BNS India and Standard Chartered Bank, India have agreed for the transfer of certain outstanding obligations   and client relationships from BNS India to Standard Chartered Bank, India for Export Data/Import Data Processing and Monitoring System (EDPMS/IDPMS), Depositor Education and Awareness Fund refund, External Commercial Borrowing (ECB) & Project Offices (PO) Authorized Dealer (AD) Responsibility and certain Deposits (in scope of transfer).

BNS India will reach out to customers in scope under the abovesaid arrangement, to seek consent for effecting the transfer of account(s) / obligation(s) from BNS India to Standard Chartered Bank, India.
