The Story Behind Scotiabank Grenada

Scotiabank is proud to maintain its branch operations in Grenada, where it has operated for more than 45 years.

Scotiabank opened its first branch in Grenada in the capital city of St. Georges in 1963. It expanded its operations by opening branches in Grand Anse, the tourist belt in the south of the island and Grenville, the second largest town in the east of the island. Activity in the branches in Grenada reflects the economic growth of the country with tourism, construction and agriculture being the leading industries.

With the three branches strategically placed throughout the country, Scotiabank continues to offer a complete range of retail and commercial banking services, including electronic cash management. The Bank has about 74 employees, plus 5 ATMs.

The Bank is now developing a small business unit to manage small and medium businesses. This unit is presently managed by the Personal Banking Manager.

Scotiabank is a strong supporter of the communities where we live and work. Scotiabank's contributions range from sports to education and arts and culture, mainly geared towards children, non-profit organizations and the elderly.
