What is the breadth of your experience at Scotiabank?
My experience at Scotiabank has covered the Retail Branch, Human Resources, Investing, Private Banking, Commercial Credit and Commercial Banking, and Management. That's a lot of ground to cover - but I'm still learning and growing my career.
How is your current business line unique in the Bank?
Small business is bank's the most cross-functional group because it touches on so many other areas, such as Retail, Commercial and Wealth Management. That's where my experience with Scotiabank really pays off.
What does a typical day involve?
Half of my time is spent in meetings to discuss and implement strategies and tactics. The other half is spent on communicating with my team. It's not surprising that time management is a challenge; however working at Scotiabank does provide me with balance between work and life.
