My career with Scotiabank started in the Domestic bank. Now I'm getting experience in International and continuing my professional training, with an eye to movin' on up. Every step of the way, I've been recognized and supported as a valued member of the bigger picture and empowered to work autonomously. I'm in control of my destiny!

And the strength of our relationships makes for teamwork that gets things done. I've seen evidence of that in all of the places and roles I've been and that gives me a lot of confidence.

Is professional development supported?

On-going professional development is important, and Scotiabank has many programs in place to support that. On top of the on line job skills training program, I'm also supported with a Mentoring program, and I have the opportunity to be reimbursed for earning my MBA.

Is community involvement important?

Giving back to the communities that are our customers is a large part of good corporate citizenship, and Scotiabank embraces this with enthusiasm. Aside from the sponsorships and donations made nationally, regionally and locally the Bank encourages us get involved by matching our individual donations and supporting our involvement in fund raising initiatives.
