Scotiabankers Associations and Networking

Advancement Through Association

Search for a Job Now
For nearly 60 years, the Scotiabanker Associations have provided a forum for the exchange of business ideas and for promoting professionalism and friendship among Scotiabankers.

Today, there are more than 70 associations across Canada and the tradition is still going strong. Not only are there branch associations in every region of Canada but other business groups have come on board, including the Executive Offices, Commercial Banking, Electronic Banking and Scotia intek, each with their own Executive Committee.

Nowadays, there is also much more diversity within each association, as employees from all levels and positions come together at local meetings and events. You will find Customer Service Representatives, Financial Advisors, Relationship Managers, Branch Managers, Vice-Presidents and senior executives all attending the same dinner and social activities, each bringing their own experiences and knowledge to the association experience.

Networking Opportunities

The Scotia Women's Connection is equally active, hosting a series of networking events that facilitate the advancement of women within our industry. Our Executive Vice-President Speaker Series brings women together from across the Scotiabank Group and is available through Webcast making it easily accessible to all employees, globally. Our Career Information series provides women with specific career information relating to our various business lines and key support functions. And our Professional development series presents topics that focus on career advancement strategies such as work-life balance and negotiation skills.
