Security - Your payment is completed through existing banking systems. Unlike other services, you are not required to provide any financial information including your ScotiaCard number, account number, or login information to the online merchant.

How to Complete a Transaction
An Interac Online transaction is very similar to Interac Direct Payment and is quick and easy to complete.
Notes
- Prior to using the service, you must be activated for Scotia OnLine.
- A service fee of $1.50 applies to Interac Online transactions.
- Each Interac Online transaction will count towards your monthly transactions as specified in your account plan and all regular account fees will apply.
- Interac Online transactions are included as part of your daily/weekly Direct Payment (i.e., “Point-of-Sale”) transaction limits.
- All purchase related questions or concerns should be directed to the online merchant.
- Protect your ScotiaCard and Password. Always remember to keep your Scotia OnLine password and ScotiaCard number secret. Do not divulge your password to anyone.
