In addition to the above fees, each non-Scotiabank ABM may levy a convenience fee that will vary in amount. This is not a Scotiabank fee.

For foreign currency withdrawals performed at ABMs outside Canada, VISA International on our behalf determines the foreign currency exchange rate on the date of conversion. Included in the exchange rate is a conversion fee of 2.5% of the converted amount.

And remember, when traveling you can avoid paying surcharges or international access fees¹ on your account from over 35,000 ATMs belonging to the Global Alliance.
