Enjoy convenient and easy access to the following services and information:

  • Buy and sell Canadian and U.S. equities on major North American exchanges.
  • Obtain real-time quotes on equities and market indices.
  • Access your personal quote library list.
  • Check the status of your equity orders.
  • Transfer to TeleScotia® telephone banking for Scotiabank transactions.

Ready to get started?

To access the ScotiaMcLeod Direct Investing® Automated Telephone Service, you must have:

  • A ScotiaMcLeod Direct Investing Account
    Don't have one? Simply complete an Account Application online.

  • A ScotiaCard™ Banking Card
    Don't have one? Call 1-800-4-SCOTIA (1-800-472-6842) and a customer service representative will send you one, or visit any Scotiabank branch.

  • A Personal Access Code
    This is the same code that is used to submit trades using our online services. If you do not have one, call a customer service representative at 1-800-263-3430 to obtain your temporary code. You will then be prompted to change your Access Code.

Ready to go?

If you have all the items listed above, you're ready to go. Call 1-800-263-3430 and select Option 1 on the Main Menu (1-800-361-6601 in Quebec), enter your ScotiaCard number and your Access Code, then follow the prompts.
