Why pay your bills electronically? It's simple:

Time – You're busy. This service allows you to bank on your time, anytime, anywhere in North America.

Convenience – Pay your bills by telephone, bank machine or online. Payments are accepted 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and, as an added convenience, the TeleScotia® telephone banking, Scotia OnLine® Financial Services and Scotia Wireless services let you post-date payments up to one year in advance.¹

Savings – Paying your bills through our electronic banking services is less costly than mailing cheques.

Security – A unique reference number or an ABM receipt is provided as a confirmation of each bill paid.

Selection – Scotiabank has an extensive, ever-expanding list of organizations that accept electronic bill payments through our electronic banking services. In fact, we've got more than 9,000 to date.

Register for Electronic Banking Today

Take advantage of paying bills electronically by registering for the service(s) you want. Have your ScotiaCard™ number ready and the bills you wish to pay. If any of your billing accounts change, please update our records using TeleScotia, Scotia OnLine or by visiting a branch.

  • Scotia OnLine Financial Services
    For bill registration using Scotia OnLine, go to the "Banking" tab, "Bill Payments" sub-tab, and click the "Add Payee/Bill" left-hand navigation link.

  • TeleScotia Telephone Banking
    Call 1-800-267-1234 and select Option 2 to register for TeleScotia. For bill registration call 1-800-267-1234
    and at the Routine Banking Menu select Option 1, to
    register a bill payment company using your voice!

  • OR, visit any branch.  

 

¹  Future-dated bill payments will only be processed if sufficient funds
    are in the designated account by 6:00pm ET on that day.
