- Scotiabank's Atlantic Customer Contact Centre (ACCC) was recognized by Service Quality Measurement (SQM) Group for achieving 'World Class' customer and employee satisfaction in 2007.
- In 2007, Scotiabank de Costa Rica, Scotiabank Trinidad & Tobago, and Scotiabank Turks & Caicos received the "Bank of the Year" award from The Banker magazine.
- Employer Marketing of Choice Awards: Scotia Applause, the Bank’s employee recognition program, won the Employee/Internal Communications Program category at the first annual awards in March 2007.
- People’s Choice Online Award: Scotiabank also received this recognition for the Scotiabank.com/careers website in 2007 at the Employer Marketing of Choice Awards.

- Deals of the Year for 2005: Scotia Capital received this recognition by Euro money magazine as Lead Arranger on the project financing deal for the Cerro Verde copper mine in Peru.
