Monitor your ScotiaFunds Holdings

Scotia OnLine makes it easy to monitor the ScotiaFunds™ holdings in your SSI Investment Account.

To track information such as the average cost per unit, number of units, current unit price and current value, simply:

1. Sign-in to Scotia OnLine and select the "Investing" tab.
   
   
2. Under the "Accounts and Transfers" sub-tab select "Account Details" from the left-hand navigation menu.
   
   
3. If you have more than one investment account, select from the "Account" drop-down menu.
   
   
   
   
   
   Note: if you have investment accounts with ScotiaMcLeod or Scotiabank, these will also appear in the drop-down menu for easy access.

Purchase ScotiaFunds in your New SSI Investment Account

To purchase ScotiaFunds in your new registered or non-registered SSI Investment Account, simply:

1. Sign in to Scotia OnLine and select the "Investing" tab.
   
   
2. Under the "Scotia Investments" sub-tab, select "New Investment Purchase" from the left-hand navigation menu.
   
   
3. Using the "New Account Open" menu, select the "Investment Type" and "Mutual Funds" respectively from the drop-down menus and click on "Submit".
   
   
   
4. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete your ScotiaFunds purchase.

Purchase ScotiaFunds in your Existing SSI Investment Account

To purchase ScotiaFunds in your existing registered or non-registered SSI Investment Account, simply:

1. Sign-in to Scotia OnLine and select the "Investing" tab.
   
   
2. Under the "Scotia Investments" sub-tab, select "Contribute to Existing Investment" from the left-hand navigation menu.
   
   
3. Using the "Existing Investment" menu, select the account you'd like to contribute to and "Mutual Funds" from the "Product" drop-down menu, and click on "Submit".
   
   
   
   
   
4. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete your ScotiaFunds purchase.
   

Switch between ScotiaFunds in your Existing SSI Investment Account

To switch between ScotiaFunds in your account (eg. from the Canadian Balanced Fund to the Canadian Income Fund), simply:

1. Sign in to Scotia OnLine and select the "Investing" tab.
   
   
2. Under the "Scotia Investments" sub-tab, select "Mutual Fund Switches" from the left-hand navigation menu.
   
   
3. Select your account from the list, and select "Submit".
   
   
   
   
   
   
4. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the transfer between ScotiaFunds. During this process, you will be prompted to indicate the individual funds you wish to transfer to and from, as well as the transfer amount (in dollars, or "All Units").
